Cindy, Theresa and I decided to take a trip into downtown Toronto. We caught the UP train from the airport to Union Station. We walked up University to the Textile Meseun which we toured. Then down Young Street, stopping for lunch at an Irish Pub. Great people watching day!

Here we are again in Toronto for the Canadian Quilt Association National Juried Show. I'm here enjoying the company and beautiful works of art. I'm also sitting in on a few workshops and one workshop class by Hollis Chatelaine.
Always a favourite is the reveal of the Best of Show. This year it is Fleur de Glacé by Colette Dumont from Saint-Romain, QC. She used stain glass technique, beading, digitized embroidery and cut work. Not my style, but beautiful none the less.
